The Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association (TAMBA) is dedicated to the stewardship of sustainable, multiple-use trails and to preserving access for mountain bikers through advocacy, education and promotion of responsible trail use.
Lake Tahoe Bicycle Coalition

Alta Alpina Cycling Club
The Alta Alpina Cycling Club(AACC) is a road and mountain bike club in the Lake Tahoe, Carson Valley, Carson City, and Markleeville areas whose primary focus is to promote cycling and to create an environment in which cyclists of all ages and abilities can enjoy the sport and socialize with other riders.
Tahoe Rim Trail Association (TRT)
The Tahoe Rim Trail Association is a volunteer, non-profit 501(C)3 organization established in 1981 to plan, construct, and maintain the Tahoe Rim Trail. This 165-mile, twenty-four inch, single-track trail is open to hiking and equestrians with 104 miles accessible for mountain biking. The trail encompasses the ridge tops of the Lake Tahoe Basin, crossing six counties, and two states. When you see TRT on this Guide it refers to the Tahoe Rim Trail.
