DESCRIPTION:Registration is open for the Carson Valley Trails Association’s first ever Spoker Ride to be held August 23rd at James Lee Park in Indian Hills! \nAll ages and abilities welcome at this 10 mile poker run mountain bike ride through well groomed CVTA trails. Jokers are wild and the top three winning hands will receive prize packages of cash\, merchandise and gift certificates from local sponsors. \nWe will have food and beverage vending after the ride by Bubbly’s Kitchen and Double Barrel Draft Wagon. \nRegistor online here

Rocky summits and breathtaking pine forests are found in every direction from the host location of Northstar California. \n\n50K or 100K distance\nLeadville Trail 100 MTB qualifier\nSingletrack\, Jeep roads\, exciting descents\n6\,000+ ft elevation gain (100K)\n800 riders\nEstablished 2011\n\n“The Lake Tahoe area and this course are simply spectacular. Sweeping views (that incidentally you may never have a chance to look at) and a fun and challenging course. There’s a good bit of fast\, fun and flowy trail riding and plenty of hills to let you know where you stand with your training. While it’s not at 10\,200 feet\, the approximately 6\,000 to 8\,000 feet of elevation will give you a taste of thinner air and begin your acclimatization process for the Leadville Trail 100 MTB.”
